What has been the biggest coincidence of your life so far?

This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for August 19, 2007:
Life is the stream of coinciding persons, thoughts, and events. I used to enjoy it when I noticed, but now the process is so organic and constant. And who is to say what is more important. OK, here is one for you. I start digging sweat lodge size rocks out of my garden, and by September, I am sitting in my first sweat lodge. There are no coincidences, just the flow of Mother Earth and other divine helpers guiding us along our path. The more aware one is of that truth, the less strange and noticable the coincidence feels.

I love the rocks in this photo. So ancient and worn and comfortable and inviting. I'm a rock person. I love them and all the stories they tell and don't tell. The mystery that surrounds them. They were here from the git go and they'll be here long after the human beings have taken their leave.
Verrry cool!! Love the rocks in the photo as well too, looks like a beautiful place for a hike, cool dip, or contemplate.

I hope to visit this place soon. It is in Vermont. A friend took the picture. There are good rocks in Maine too, rocks and water, and a lot of it is ocean. Famous Rocky Coast of Maine.
Bewick, Lewis Mehl-Madrone says rocks speak very slowly, so slowly that it can take 100 years to finish a sentence. My thought is that when rocks agree to go into the sacred fire and be part of the sweat lodge ceremony, they are speeding up with the red hot, and sometimes break apart, so they can tell us their story fast. That is how we receive the ancient wisdom of the lodge, heat and stones.
