I'll let the Kristin's Song and Colin's video of the whales speak for me.
Song for the Ocean
This was filmed at Bay of Loreto National Marine Park in Baja Sur, Mexico. I painted whale murals here this winter. Come with me next winter and meet the whales.

Very soothing to my soul.
mine too. and how amazing is this young woman of power and grace, must be all of 20. far out!
and i love the penguin who wobbles down the ledge!
Wow Carla! That was magnificent! I loved the video and Kristen’s voice is really so beautiful and unique. I can honestly say I have not heard anything quite like it. There is something in her voice. I can’t describe it. It penetrates deep inside me. It sounds both fresh, ancient, and … I want to say earthy or natural, but those words really don’t capture it.
I love her body movements. I had a friend at one time who loved to move in such away around the ocean. I could watch and mirror those movements for hours as I have a strong body feeling sense. Her music expands her and she feels free in it I sense.
The flashes of people and the presence within their eyes was so lifeful and just melts me every time I see them combined with beautiful music.
The whales and dolphins are such magnificent creatures! I have seen dolphins up close only once. When I feel into them there is power, kindness, joy, and umm balance I want to say.
I feel into life. That is my primary sensory for knowing (wordless) combined with the visual so this kind of post is great for the reintegration of those gifts from a long time ago. The wordless aspect is so ecstatic for me I had to write poetry. Only poetry has the range of meaning in words for me. That is why I say single words don’t capture what they do here for me. So there, I can confess that here in this beautiful space.
Deepest Bow of Gratitude My Beautiful Friend!
Ben
Hi Everybody! Thanks for enjoying the video. Please pass it on to your
friends, cause it will be good for the whales and other ocean
creatures. This song and video is a gift. That’s where Colin’s and
Kristin’s hearts are.
Mary, I love that perky penguin too, and I don’t know where they found ti. Penguins don’t live free North of the Equator.
Ben, feel free to share your appreciation of her voice with Kristin,
via her web link. I was in a sound healing ceremony with her, and I
bought the CD. She is incredible,
My time with the animals and the people of Baja change me in ways I am
barely discovering. It was pure inspiration that took me down there.
Grace is the operative word here … the whales, the ocean, the song - it is all a beautiful dance. I’m entranced now. Thank you for sharing this Carla. I love you! ;-D
thank you to John for sending me over here and to Carla for sharing this great song and video. i’ll be sharing it with others :)
Shirley, thank you. Please do pass it on. The song mirrors the joy of the animals, so let’s share them.
Carla, thanks so much for sharing this beautiful moment. We are blessed to see the whales’ migration at least twice a year in my part of Oregon, and there is nothing more moving than to be on the beach and suddenly discover you’re sharing rocky outcroppings with sea lions and sea birds. It reminds you in the deepest parts of your soul that humans are just one tiny part of the miracle of life on our blue planet.
